Stone Care Instructions
Dear Customer, Please take a moment to read these care instructions to maintain your beautiful stone artifact in excellent condition!
- Natural stones are substantial in weight. Like all heavy objects, please place them in a safe location, out of reach of young children and pets, to avoid the risk of injury
- While natural stone is more robust than ceramic and glass, it can still be damaged if subjected to significant force, such as dropping. Please handle it with the same care you would afford to ceramic and glass items.
- The stone is coated with natural beeswax to enhance its natural color, a safe approach free from harmful chemicals. To maintain, gently wipe with a dry, clean cloth that does not shed fibers. Avoid forceful scrubbing and the use of harsh cleansers.
- The wax coating may leave white marks if scraped by hard objects, such as a knife. Should this occur, gently and patiently rub olive oil onto the affected area with a clean cloth, and the marking should diminish or disappear.
- If used outdoors, avoid exposure to rain and prolonged strong sunlight, which may gradually wear away the wax coating. Should this happen, gently apply olive oil to the surface as described above. Avoid leaving stone vessels filled with water outdoors during freezing temperatures, as they can break due to the expansion of ice.
- This item is not suitable for dishwasher, stovetop, or microwave use.
